In deep foundations, the pile group and raft are generally used. To date, contribution of is not taken into account in design, even when contact with soil whole system therefore considered to work as a foundation. combined system, takes considerable portion applied load, depending upon number piles, spacing diameter ratio length ratio. this paper, an experimental investigation carried out study response small-scale piled models varying piles subjected both vertical lateral loads. Additionally, mechanism these types loads also studied. A comparison was made between models. It found that, unlike group, provides considerably high stiffness loads, difference systems decreases increases. By comparing same under it concluded that much stiffer than response.
